BRIDGE, Building Relationships through Intercultural Dialogue
This was such an unforgettable experience where I was able to hold a koala in my arms.
In exchange, I learned about Australia’s education system, technology integrated learning, and parental involvement in school.
Additionally, by living in with an Australian family I also learned the daily Australian family style of living.
I was also privileged to be able to have an encounter with one of the most famous Australian wildlife animal, the koala.

Aside from teaching, the four of us also spent time discussing and planning about our partnership.
As a result, there will be a reciprocal visit in April 2018.
During the ECC visitation, their teachers will be sharing their knowledge on how to integrate IT in learning by conducting workshops, share how we may involve parents in school activities and programs, and how to encourage students to have a growth mind set all through their learning.
Aside from getting the advantage of obtaining additional knowledge from each other, for our school in particular this partnership will be beneficial for our school’s accreditation purpose in the near future. (*)
