Manado Independent School (MIS), the school where I belong. The school where I learn a lot of lessons, meet new friends and learn to be a disciplined student.

At first, when my mom told me that I was going to study in MIS, I got scared because I didn’t know how to speak English at all.

I thought I would have a bad experience studying at MIS. I thought I would not have friends here. But I was wrong.

Everything turned out different than what I have expected.

MIS actually taught me to do things I believed I could not do at first; until now I can’t even imagine how lucky I am to have an opportunity to study in MIS.

Because of MIS, I have made new friends, I have learned how to speak English and become a disciplined student.

But the thing that makes MIS special is that it has taught me to be a good person.

MIS is a Christian school that teaches students to have a good character. MIS has taught us to always put God first in everything we do and to respect each other.

In MIS, we always start our classes with a worship, which strengthens our faith. MIS not only molds us to be a successful person, but it also leads us to be a better persons.

MIS is a blessing for me, and I’m really grateful for the chance to study in MIS. (*)
