LAST November 11, 2017, the Elementary section had the Math Week program. In Math Week, we did many activities.

Our math teachers prepared questions that we had to answer, and whoever got the answer right received a prize.

Grades 4 to 6 were assigned to make group projects about math. We follow a theme every Math Week. For this year the theme is “A Lesson that Counts”.

MIS always conducts enriching programs such as the Math and Science Week and other subject related activities.

Teachers prepare these programs to make their students learn, enjoy and be more enthusiastic about those subjects.

Math does not only teach us how to add love or subtract hate, but it also gives us hope that every problem has a solution.

Math is probably one of the least favorite subjects but it has many uses.

Math is the key that unlocks the doors of science, helping to explain how our world operates. It allows us to understand how gravity works, how objects move, and many other principles.

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up in math problems or equations.

The most certain way to succeed is to try one more time. One way that God is revealed through mathematics is by its unchanging nature.

Though different nations and people throughout history may have used different symbols to writ out a math problem, math itself is the same.

Math’s consistency is what allows our world to operate orderly and precisely. It has permitted scientific laws, such as the law of gravity, to function from the days of Adam and Eve until today. (*)
