Tentang Lagu

Lagu "Worthy" dari Elevation Worship diciptakan oleh Chris Brown, Mack Donald Iii Brock dan Steven Furtick pada tahun 2018.

Lagu ini adalah pujian yang menyatakan bahwa nama dan pribadi Yesus Kristus layak menerima segala penyembahan, pujian dan kemuliaan. 

Lagu ini berakar pada kisah keselamatan dan penebusan dosa melalui pengorbanan Yesus di kayu salib, yang membebaskan umat manusia dari rasa malu dan menggantinya dengan kebenaran dan kasih karunia Tuhan.

"Worthy" juga menggambarkan kemampuan unik umat percaya untuk mempersembahkan pujian dari tempat keselamatan yang telah mereka alami, sesuatu yang tidak dapat dilakukan oleh para malaikat, karena mereka tidak pernah diselamatkan dari dosa.
